International Students - The Asheford Program Outside North America

Picture
The Asheford Institute has a large number of international students and graduates from around the world (those students residing outside of the United States and Canada). Requirements for enrolling in the Asheford Program for international students are the same as those for domestic students:

INTERNATIONAL ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
ANYONE may apply for admission to the Asheford Institute Of Antiques Program. However, to be eligible to enroll in the Institute, it is recommended that you at least have a good fundamental working knowledge of the English language. Students are not required to have a GED equivalency test score, but must demonstrate the ability to comprehend the subject matter at hand, via the submission of OPEN-BOOK Course examinations.

INTERNATIONAL ENROLLMENT & SHIPPING

Picture
If you are interested in participating in the Asheford Program as an international student, please be aware that there are additional "shipping charges" based on your particular geographic location.

In order to minimize these shipping costs, the Institute recommends that potential students enroll under payment Plan (C) - the Complete Course (entire Course is shipped at one time), as well as the CD-Rom option. Both of these options will reduce the overall shipping weight of the packaging and Course materials.

International students may still choose to order the text book version of the Course, (and enroll under  Plan (B) - the monthly tuition payment plan - the CD-Rom version can also be selected), however shipping costs will increase significantly  over time, when these options are selected.

Below, is a "SAMPLE" of current shipping costs to Europe, using France as an example. Please be advised that these figures are only general guidelines, and that a specific physical address will be required in order to obtain an exact amount for additional Course shipping fees.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING GUIDELINES:
In order to process international enrollments for the Asheford Course, the Institute will require the following before any Course Materials can be shipped (payment for international enrollments by credit card only):

1.Your
enrollment fee ($35.00), plus your first monthly tuition payment ($45.00).
   (OR)
Payment in full for the Complete Course ($895.00).

2. Additional Shipping Charges (see below).

Courses for International students are shipped via the Canadian or U.S. Postal System from our U.S. or Canadian offices. Listed below is an example of shipping charges to France. We recommend our International students take the Course in the CD-Rom format, and enroll if possible under the Complete Course option in order to reduce the cost of additional shipping charges. Please be advised that if you enroll under the installment Plan (monthly tuition payments), additional shipping charges will apply to each of the Five Plans of Study as they are mailed out.

"SAMPLE" - ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES FROM NORTH AMERICA TO FRANCE:

PLAN 1-  TEXT BOOKS - $85.00 shipping
PLAN 1 - CD-Roms - $52.00 shipping

COMPLETE COURSE - CD-Roms ($895.00) - $97.00 shipping
COMPLETE COURSE -  TEXT BOOKS ($895.00) - $163.00 shipping

(**All figures are in U.S. dollars)

All additional shipping charges must be paid in advance before Course Plans can be mailed out. In order to proceed with an order from an international student, the Institute will require written confirmation (email or snail mail) of  acceptance of these additional shipping charges and a Course selection-preference for either the Text Books or CD-Roms.
