Asheford e-Course Receives First Update

3/7/2016

Florida - The Asheford Institute of Antiques, an internationally recognized distance-learning program on antiques, collectibles and appraising, recently finalized updates and revisions to their newly released e-Course of 2015. The upgrades were just completed this past week according to school spokesperson Shelly Dumont. "We promised students and graduates alike that the e-Course would be continually updated throughout the year, with major revisions being completed in twelve to fourteen month cycles, and that's exactly what we've done," said Dumont.

Since first rolling out the new e-Course format in 2015, enrollment has skyrocketed. "We've had staff members continually tweaking the program all year long - adding content, increasing the number of videos, as well as improving the users overall experience." Many of the changes made were a direct result of student input, "When they talked, we listened," said Dumont.

While recently released figures showed that some students still preferred the textbooks because they liked having a hard-copy on hand, Dumont countered that the new updates to the online program now allowed students to print off their own hard-copy of the e-Course.This makes it an easy choice now said Dumont, "The e-Course gives you the best of both worlds."

For those interested in learning more about the educational opportunities being offered by the Institute and their new online e-Course, you can find them at: www.asheford.com or call their Registrar's Office at: 877-444-4508.
